From centuries past, Ukrainians in the springtime traditionally put things in order in their affairs, thoughts and houses reflecting processes of the nature renewal. We, also, have decided to put things in order and started to do it with renewed energy. Meet our new renovated MIRT office in Kiev.
Here we have the Art Deco style. The interior is based on wall decoration with oak veneered panels. The bright emphasis is framing of the walls with mouldings. The furniture is made of Santos rosewood, which has vertical stripes in its texture contrasting in tone and different in width due to the fibers structure.
There is modular, matt lacquered parquetry of light oak on the floor. Nonuniformity and decorative value of such a texture enhances the Art Deco style techniques. In addition, glossy verticals pattern was used, namely, metal inserts and decorative chrome-plated strips. The panel is made of painted glossy varnished MDF.
The lighting is glass wall lamps complementing ceiling chandelier, spotlights, behind-mouldings and on-panel LED lights. The purpose of these fixtures is to create a feel of weightlessness and impeccable refinement.
