Creation idea
Designers were faced with the task of decorating a country house in classic style for a middle-aged couple, whose children have already grown up and live separately. The place where the house is located is very special, since many years ago the house of the owner's grandmother was located here.
Ground floor
The ground floor is occupied by rooms for the spouses' pastime. Here are a two-color living-dining room with a marble fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious lobby, as well as a guest bedroom and a room for handicrafts. The hostess of the house dreamed of such a personal magic workshop for many years. It is made in the Provence style.
There are bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the housemaster's study on the second floor.
Study
The classical men's study is completely made of natural wood.
Marble staircase
The floors are linked using a marble staircase with an openwork wrought-iron fence.
It was important for the clients to get a classical interior design that will not lose its relevance in several years.
The main decoration element is gold. Here are beige and gold shades in damask wallpaper, luxurious crystal chandeliers and wall lamps with golden fittings, gold patina on wall panels, kitchen faces and door panels.
Upholstered furniture and cabinetry throughout the house are decorated with handmade gilded carvings. Despite the abundance of gold, the interior does not look heavy and cluttered. On the contrary, its atmosphere is radiant, light and cozy.
Interior design concept
Marble floors with geometric patterns give a special shine to the interior. Thanks to their reflections, the rooms are being visually enlarged.
The ceilings are skillfully decorated with intricate plaster friezes and rosettes. All these important interior details add up to a large-scale creation in an elegant and at the same time ceremonial classical style.
